ABOUT

Sound as medium. Space as condition.

Konstantinos Angelos Gavrias is an artist working across photography, sound, installation, and spatial architecture.

He studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf from 2012 to 2022, completing his Meisterschüler under Prof. Rita McBride.

In 2005 he received a diploma in Photodesign under Prof. Kurt Schrage. Early works examined the image as constructed surface — portraiture, documentary, and spatial observation developed across Europe, Greece, and New York.

Subsequent projects shifted from representation toward object and spatial presence. Current work develops resonance as architectural condition, treating sound as structural material within defined spatial environments.

The ongoing research framework Harmonic Void investigates vibration as environmental structure within institutional and architectural contexts.

Alongside the studio practice, structured sound programs are developed for institutional, corporate and leadership environments — drawing on applied acoustics, spatial attention and educational methodology.

Born in Germany, of Greek origin. He works across Europe.
